Miss Sara

Sara has been part of the Stage Door Dance community since its inception, serving in a variety of leadership roles. She brings over two decades of dance experience to the team. While trained in all styles, she specializes in tap, jazz technique, and acrobatics. In addition to teaching, she currently oversees programming across both locations, brand strategy, and supplemental programming. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Girls Geared for Greatness.

With more than 15 years of experience in education and mental health, Sara holds a BA in Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience from Bowling Green State University and an MA in Counseling from Wake Forest University with a specialization in School Counseling. As a National Certified Counselor and former NC Licensed Educator, Sara has held roles in public education, crisis counseling, nonprofit leadership, and family advocacy.

Sara is grateful to be part of the Stage Door Dance community as both a leader and parent!

I really appreciate that SDD encourages each dancer to define their own version of success and supports and cheers them on as they work toward their goals!
