Be More Benefit Show 2026: Share the Stage!
The Elevated Pathways Program at Stage Door Dance Productions believes that dance can change the world, and we are on a mission to make it happen! Since 2017, our dancers have raised over $250,000 through their varying philanthropic initiatives supporting meaningful non-profits.
This year, we are introducing SHARE THE STAGE Initiative, a project designed to build bridges between organizations that cultivate joy and purpose through meaningful partnership.
Because we deeply believe dance can positively shift humanity, we wanted to focus on an incredible dance organization. After all, dance has changed all of our lives in a powerful way!
This year, we are raising funds for NC Arts In Action, a subsidiary of the National Dance Institute in New York City. NC Arts In Action brings dance into Title I Elementary Schools in the Triangle Area, boosting the belief that everyone can find power, purpose, and strength through dance.
Through our Share The Stage Benefit Show and its affiliated efforts, our goal is to raise $33,333 to fund a local school for an entire year.

Dance-A-Thon 2026
On Saturday, February 21st from 3-8pm at SDD: Brier Creek, we'll be GROOVING FOR GOOD for the Share The Stage: Dance-A-Thon to support NC Arts In Action. If you are ages 6+, you are invited to take on the challenge and be a Dance-A-Thon Participant. The $15 participation fee will cover your Dance-A-Thon Fundraising Materials, refreshments/programming on the day of the event (including a pizza party dinner), and a commemorative participation button and bracelet. REQUIREMENTS: Participants are encouraged to facilitate a fundraising campaign to participate (donor pledge, bake sale, etc.). It'll be a super fun, dance-fueled day designed to support our mission of making SOCIAL IMPACT through the performing arts!

Come see our Elevated Pathways program rock it out during halftime of the Duke vs SMU women’s basketball game on Sunday, February 8th, @ 2PM. It’s a great way to kick off Super Bowl Sunday!

NHSDA for a Day!
NHSDA for a Day is an afternoon of dance specifically designed for SDD Dancers Ages 4-9.
During the afternoon, dancers will move through a quick paced series of classes led by our National Honor Society of Dance Arts Members. Styles explored will include ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, musical theatre and acting.
Snacks will be provided, and we'll have a special visit from Rumi and Elsa with Picture Perfect Princess.
It'll be an inspiring afternoon of leadership and movement. Plus, a portion of the proceeds will go to the SHARE THE STAGE initiative, which, this season, will benefit ARTS IN ACTION.
