Miss Rachael

Rachael has been a performer all her life! She was raised while traveling with Strates Shows Carnival Company, and grew up surrounded by circus performers. She began her dance training at the age of 7 and was trained in all styles. She relocated to Raleigh NC from Buffalo NY in 2019 to pursue her passion for dance education and early childhood development.  Rachael has over 13 years of experience as an educator and is proud to be a part of the leadership team at SDD. When she is not teaching you can find her reading, collecting house plants, and crafting!

What Makes SDD Different: My favorite thing about SDD is that it is an inclusive space for all children to shine. The staff, students, parents, and community all work together to create an enviroment that is developmentally appropriate, and affirming for every child.
