At Stage Door Dance, we strongly believe that giving back to our community is an important component to each child’s dance education. Throughout the year the Stage Door Elite Company and Stage Door Dancers will have the opportunity to participate in the following service opportunities:
- Performance Opportunities at the Governor Morehead School for the Blind
- Participation in Team Walks for the American Cancer Society
- Fundraisers for Dancers Responding to Aids
- Holiday Projects with Children’s Hospitals and Nursing Homes
- Opportunities with Special Olympics of North Carolina
- Charity Dance Classes
(Past Classes have benefited the American Cancer Society and the American Red Cross)
The studio has also supported the following campaigns:
- Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Walk
- The St. Baldrick’s Foundation
- Lunafest Short Films Fest for The Breast Cancer Fund
- The Helen Foundation Campaign
- SAFEChild
- Bethesda Christian Academy
- Relay For Life of Brier Creek
- Raleigh Rescue Mission
